Sun. Dec. 5th ~ Special guests in online Children's Chapel share about Chanukah

 

Many thanks to UCM's Greenberg family and to the Rosenbergs from Beth Jacob synagogue for sharing about the ways they celebrate Chanukah (or Hanukkah--we learned either spelling is okay).  And thank you to all the kids and parents and LSE volunteers who signed on to be part of the spiritual exploration with them!  We had nearly 30 people once everyone logged in.  

We learned a lot of great information.  I will post more details and pictures soon.  

Photo below: Bending over like the shamus candle that lights the other eight on the menorah.  This was part of a movement break half way through our time together.  We also spun like a dreidel and curled up small and hid for a moment, like a piece of hidden gelt (chocolate coins).
